FA COMPETITIONS: Prize Fund Confirmed for FA Cup & FA Trophy

The Football Association have confirmed the prize money for every round of the FA Trophy and the qualifying rounds of the FA Cup in the 2024/25 season. Winning teams in Extra Preliminary Round will receive £1,125, with the losers collecting £375. The Reds won’t enter until the Preliminary Round, due to finishing in the top six last season. At that stage of the Cup, winners will pocket £1,444, with losers collecting £481.

 

The rest of the rounds will see the following amounts awarded for winners and losers;

·       First Round Qualifying: winners - £2,250 losers - £750

·       Second Round Qualifying:    winners - £3,375                        losers - £1,125

·       Third Round Qualifying:         winners - £5,625                      losers - £1,875

·       Fourth Round Qualifying:       winners - £9,375                      losers - £3,125

 

The Reds will enter the FA Trophy in the Preliminary Round, so would have to win through four rounds to match last seasons run to the first qualifying round. The prize fund payments for winners and loser is as follows;

·       Preliminary Round:              winners - £1,500                   losers - £400

·       First Round Qualifying:       winners - £1,500                       losers - £400

·       Second Round Qualifying:  winners - £2,250                      losers - £575

·       Third Round Qualifying:      winners - £2,450                      losers - £625

·       First Round Proper:              winners - £3,000                      losers - £775

·       Second Round Proper:        winners - £3,750                       losers - £1,000

·       Third Round Proper:            winners - £4,500                       losers - £1,250

·       Fourth Round Proper:          winners - £5,250                       losers - £1,500

·       Fifth Round Proper:              winners - £6,000                       losers - £1,750

·       Quarter Final:                        winners - £7,500                       losers - £2,000

·       Semi Final:                             winners - £15,000                     losers - £5,000

·       Final:                                       winners - £60,000                    losers - £30,000
