FIXTURE NEWS: Reds Handed Scholars Test

Quorn Football Club have been drawn to face Loughborough Students in the semi-finals of the Leicestershire & Rutland Football Association Challenge Cup.

The Scholars, who were beaten finalists last season, booked their place in the final four with a 2-0 win at home to Shepshed Dynamo earlier this week. As runners-up the Students were handed a first round bye. Quorn have reached this stage after shootout wins over Hinckley AFC in the first round and Lutterworth Town in the quarter-final.

Nirvana, were beaten 3-1 away by Aylestone Park in the quarter-final, however, Park were found to have fielded an ineligible player, handing the Lions a reprieve.

The semi-finals will both be played at a neutral venue, with the location, date and KO time to be determined. Keep an eye on our website and social media for further details.
