FIXTURE NEWS: Spalding United Friendly Announced

Quorn Football Club are delighted to announce that Spalding United will return to Farley Way in August for a preseason friendly. “The Tulips” won promotion last season, after topping the NPL Midlands and are preparing for life at step three.

Spalding United did the double over the Reds last season, but were fortunate to win on both occasions. The most recent meeting was at Farley Way in April, where Paddy Webb had opened the scoring early in the second half. However, two late goals won the points for the visitors.

The match will take place on Saturday the 3rd of August (pending Quorn receiving a bye in the Extra-Preliminary round of The FA Cup), kicking off at 3pm.

The complete preseason schedule announced so far is:

 Nuneaton Town (H) – Tuesday the 2nd of July 2024 (19:45 KO)

Alvechurch (H) – Saturday the 6th of July 2024 (14:00 KO)

Spalding United (H) – Saturday the 3rd of August (15:00 KO)
