LAUNCH OF QUORN FOOTBALL EDUCATION ACADEMY
Coming September 2021 @ Farley Way Stadium
Everyone at Quorn Football Club is delighted to announce the launch of The Quorn Football Education Academy which will open its doors in September 2021.
For many years the club have wanted to consider when the time is right to look at helping young footballers to take their next steps in education and development of working in football as a sport.
With the current staffing structure in place. It is felt time with those people on-board when can make Quorn Football Education Academy a great success and support learners of Leicester and Leicestershire to the best of our ability. Developing Community, Regional and National Links along the way.
So all that is left to say is come and be part of it!
Our Education Academy will train daily with UEFA B licence coaches and take part in weekly fixtures across a range of different competitions. Learning course content for their BTEC Qualification on-site and being also coached and trained on our Fantastic State of The Art 3G Pitch.
Our Scholars will also get the chance to compete in the FA Youth Cup and Other National League Competitions but also opportunities to engage with external talks and visits to football organisations.
That is not all - We will also provide a unique enrichment programme looking at fitness, first aid and match officiating qualifications alongside nutrition of the modern footballer. We also believe in the development of each of our scholars. Our Academy Staff also run Quorn Football Club's 1st Team - So there will be chances for our learners to play Semi-Professional Football at Step 5 Level and apply for a apprenticeship whilst studying with us.
Quorn Football Education Academy Learners will study one of two routes – BTEC or NVQ in Sport up to level 3, Both will set you up for a great career in Sport or Sports Coaching. Whilst on our full time courses you will be supported to progress with Maths and English. This could involve taking functional skills qualifications or even retaking GCSES with us when you are ready.
We will work hard with our learners on individual development plans and assessments which is critical to track their football development and to improve their fitness, strength and conditioning.
Based in a great location with fantastic facilities in The Loughborough Area. You will take away a wide array of vocational skills that will equip you for a range of jobs in the sport and leisure industry or that are transferable for employment in a different sector.
