FIXTURE NEWS: New Date Set for Visit of Students

The Pitching In Northern Premier League have confirmed that our home tie with Loughborough Students will now take place at Farley Way on the 15th of October.

Postponed twice already, the two sides will try again on Tuesday the 15th of October 2024 (19:45 KO). The original date was postponed due to a clash with the Students’ 1st qualifying round tie in the FA Cup, with the second attempt postponed after the Football Association ordered the Scholars to replay their 1st qualifying round tie in the FA Trophy.

Loughborough had beaten Sheffield FC when that tie was originally played, however, when it emerged that there had been a paperwork error, it was decided that the match should be replayed on the evening of our scheduled match. The Scholars were, once again, victorious, progressing 3-2.
