Preseason Fixtures Confirmed

Quorn have announced that they will play five fixtures in preseason as they prepare for life back in Step Four.

The first match will see the visit of National League North side Tamworth. The Lambs are back in Step Two after winning a thrilling promotion race that went down to the wire in the Southern League Central Premier. Tamworth will visit Farley Way on Tuesday the 4th of July at 19:45.

The following Saturday, the 8th of July, sees the visit of one of the sides that Tamworth pipped to the post as Coalville Town make the short trip to Quorn. The Ravens have been very close to promotion in each of the past two seasons, falling short in the playoffs on each occasion. They also had a spectacular run in the FA Cup that saw them take on Charlton Athletic at the Valley.

Saturday the 15th brings the visit of Hinckley AFC, another side that narrowly missed out on promotion. Our only away match in preseason sees a trip to Atherstone Town. Step Five Adders will provide a stiff test as we head to Sheepy Road for a midday kick-off.

Finally, Pontefract Collieries will visit Farley Way a week before the season starts. The Colls, who play in the Northern Premier League East (Step Four), will head to Quorn on Saturday the 29th of July,
