Ryan Beswick Joins Quorn
Quorn Football Club have announced their first summer signing in the shape of former Nuneaton Borough Captain Ryan Beswick.
After starting as a youngster with MK Dons, Ryan came through the ranks at Leicester City, where he enjoyed a loan spell with Redditch United. After leaving the Foxes Beswick spent time at Kettering Town and King’s Lynn Town before joining Solihull Moors. After helping The Moors win the National League North, wearing the Captain’s armband, Beswick scored their first goal in the National League, making over 230 appearances.
A spell as Captain for Nuneaton Town followed before joining their rivals Tamworth, making over a century of appearances, once again wearing the Captain’s armband. After four years at The Lamb, Ryan returned to Nuneaton, captaining the Boro’ last season as they made it to the verge of returning to the National League North, losing the final on playoffs. Beswick was virtually ever-present, scoring 11 times from midfield in 37 appearances.
