Where:
The Stotto Stadium, Farley Way, Quorn LE12 8RB
When:
Saturday 23rd of November 2024 (3:00pm KO)
The Reds return to the Stotto Stadium following another hard-fought victory last weekend.
Quorn’s Form:
What more can be said about The Reds’ start to the season. 14 straight wins, unbeaten in 17 league games, is just phenomenal by any metric. Quorn had scored 16 goals in a stretch of four home games, but most recently they’ve battled to consecutive 1-0 wins at home to Hinckley LR and Sporting Khalsa. Saturday saw a 2-1 win with ten men away to Wellingborough Town.
Darlaston Town’s Form:
Following a midweek postponement, Darlaston come into the match sitting in fifth place. The Citizens snapped a three match winless streak with a 1-0 win at home to Long Eaton United at the weekend. Prior to that they had a shock 3-1 defeat at Bedworth United and 2-2 draw at Wellingborough Town. A 4-1 defeat at home to Corby Town snapped a streak of three straight wins in which they scored three times in each.
One to Watch:
James Rowland has scored nine in 21 matches for Darlaston this season. Rowland also notched 18 goals last season as he helped Town to a third place finish and promotion, via the playoffs, from the Midland Football League, where he played alongside Tom Allsopp.
