SQUAD NEWS: Kyle Bryant Departs

Quorn Football Club can confirm that Kyle Bryant has left the club. Known to players and fans as ‘Kilo’, Kyle was the current active leader in appearances for the Reds, playing 112 times (108 starts), many with the Captain’s armband, over the course of four seasons at Farley Way.

Bryant scored nine times for the Reds, his last goal coming away to Sporting Khalsa on his 100th appearance. Kyle was an important part of the side that won promotion back to step four in 2022/23, but will now be appearing for Belper United, closer to his Derbyshire home.

“Unfortunately, my time at Quorn has come to an end” stated Bryant, continuing “I hope all the fans have enjoyed the past couple of seasons, as much as I have. What a roller coaster it's been! Beating Anstey away in the final game of the season, needing to win to secure playoffs, with 10 men and leaving it until stoppage time, is a moment of euphoria that will live with me forever.”

“A big thank you to all the volunteers at the club. You all looked after us amazingly. I wish the new management team and players all the best for the future. I'm sure it will be another great season. See you soon, Kilo ©️”

Everyone at Quorn would like to thank Kyle for his time at the club, his leadership and constant professionalism. We all wish you all the best for this next chapter. Thank you Kyle.
